The ETHICSWEB Primer - A Short Guide to Ethics Documentation

The aim of the ETHICSWEB Primer is to serve as a guide for various target groups with an interest in documentation within the field of ethics in science. In particular, the intended audience includes ethics documentation centres (EDCs). It provides some general advice concerning documentation activities, but it also describes how to make the data accessible via the ETHICSWEB infrastructure:

• Selecting documents to collect and index
• Setting-up a database / data entry via the ETHICSWEB portal
• Cataloguing and indexing with controlled vocabularies like thesauri
• Integration of local databases into the ETHICSWEB portal
